The words "Every woman and every man is a star" echo one of the central statements of Aleister Crowley’s The Book of the Law. In Thelema, the star represents an individual following their own True Will. Like stars moving on their own courses, each person has an orbit that belongs to them alone.

The symbols printed on the sleeves are the traditional magical characters of Sirius and Procyon, two of the fifteen Behenian fixed stars of medieval and Renaissance astrological magic.
In Agrippa’s tradition, Sirius was believed to bring honour, goodwill and favour, and to help reconcile people and restore harmony. Procyon was associated with favour, protection against witchcraft and the preservation of health.
